My work for galleries is always derived from personal observation. Fieldwork is vital. Sketching and painting my subjects from life is both a joy and a constant source of inspiration.

Commissions, both private and commercial, require a different approach, but i always research my subjects thoroughly to produce the most accurate depiction possible.

I don't have a favourite medium, in fact I enjoy using a variety of mediums and approaches depending on the subject, the client and the outcome I desire.
